What is the Clara White Mission?

For more than a century, the Clara White Mission has helped Jacksonville's at-risk individuals gain new perspectives on life. The Mission has been the one-stop community center stimulating economic development through job training in educational programs, daily feedings, advancement and more.  Our foundation begins with stabilizing programs that are designed to provide nutritional meals and transitional housing, with a particular emphasis on assisting veterans in need.  The standard for local outreach.

One thing that continues to impress me is how Clara White treats its clients with dignity and respect. I have had several negative experiences with homeless shelters and soup kitchens in the past, and have never seen an organization that cares as deeply for those it serves as does Clara White.
